04 July 2011 - Assystem short-listed for 5 awards at The 2011 REC Awards “Institute of Recruitment Professionals”

I am extremely proud and pleased to say that Assystem has been short-listed for five of the eight award categories entered at this years REC Awards, the Institute of Recruitment Professionals in the UK.

According to the REC, 2011 has been a record year for the number of entries with over 150 companies entering; Assystem has done extremely well in getting these 5 nominations.

The REC is the UK’s major professional body for Recruitment professionals and Recruitment companies Annually the REC gives awards for achievements in recruitment and this is the first year Assystem has nominated themselves for these prestigious awards.

The nominations were not about individuals but about the Recruitment team as a whole and our success with customers such as Assystem Aerospace and our external customers in the automotive and aerospace industries

Assystem has been short-listed in the following categories:

Best Newcomer of the year
This award is aimed at individuals who have shown true promise in their new recruitment role

Permanent Consultant of the year
This award is open to recruitment consultants who consistently perform above their peers, show excellent client retention and growth, achieve outstanding candidate feedback and demonstrate professionalism and commitment in all they do

Business Manager of the year
This award will be presented to the manager who best demonstrates an ability to consistently lead a successful team

In-House Recruiter of the year
This award will recognise a recruiter who operates in-house

Best Business support team
Recruitment Professionals and be in a non-front line business support area, such as marketing, admin support, resourcing

The awards take place in London on 29th September where the winners will be announced – watch this space
