ICEM Surf Designer
Assystem are currently working very closely with a Niche Vehicle Manufacturer who is expanding its Design Studio team.
We are currently looking for an experienced ICEM Surf Designer to join our Styling Studio.
The purpose of this role is to support the design and surfacing requirements for various car programmes.
Principal Accountabilities
• A-class surfacing of vehicle Exteriors and Interiors.
• Design and detailing of body panels and components to a production quality.
Personal Attributes/Experience
• Automotive experience.
• Experience of working in low to medium volume auto maker is an advantage.
• Experience in problem solving, studio engineering, and concept work.
• Experience on vehicles with moulded body panels would be an advantage.
• High level of knowledge of surfacing techniques, solid modelling and detailing.
• Experience of data exchange issues between Catia, ICEM Surf and Alias
• Must be PC literate and at ease with MS Office products.
• Degree level is preferred or other recognised engineering qualifications combined with suitable experience.
